Attitude was Lucid's 4th Lustrum and focused on bringing back the Lucid experience afer the corona years; a sense of home and openness together with a diverse group of members. In creating the Lucid experience, they aimed to create a series of events that result in a home front for all members. These events were;
The opening party of Attitude, with also the Lustrum Attitude beer reveal!
“A very drinkable blonde beer that uses American Mosaïc hops that create a hoppy taste with tropical fruit tones. At 5.8% alcohol this beer is very drinkable and the taste of it lies between a blonde beer, and a smooth IPA.”

For the first major Lustrum event a small sub-group of the Lustrum committee aimed to facilitate a truly curious event. By collaborating with Phood Kitchen, a unique dining experience was created focusing on exploring food and enjoying good company and entertainment.
With the beautiful entry music by Lucid's own Iris Troost, the tone for the night was set. Belle van Kempen's spoken word performance about Lucid was the icing on the cake.
"So in our twenties you can guarantee
we will keep going in the same pace
create event more space
for amazing ideas and ambition
challenges and determination
In our twenties you'll see
Lucid won't stop growing
I'm curious to find out where we can aim
but in our twenties you'll see
the Lucid feeling stays the same
Clearly expressed and easy to understand
we know what we stand for
expression and experience
something fun and something serious
open to all and easy to define
your Lucid is yours
my Lucid is mine
It changes and grows
it invents and explodes
it improves and reiterates
my Lucid is mine
and your Lucid is yours
luckily Lucid is always ours"
Dear Voyagers,
Originally called Voyage: the Lucid Gala, this event was supposed to happen in March 13th 2020, however due to the pandemic it had to be moved.
During the additional years of preparation this international committee crossed all T's and dotted all I's to create an unforgettable experience to set the tone for Lucid's gala's for years to come.
Bon Voyage!
Fun fact: One of the committee members flew back from the USA to be at Voyage!
As the Career Week committee we organized a set of career focused events during the Lustrum year. To support members in their career development, we organized workshops, a design exhibition and to top it all off the fifth edition of IDConnect! The atmosphere was set by hosting this Lustrum edition of IDConnect at LAB-1, where students and companies like ASML and Arçelik gathered for an inspirational evening full of design.
The workshops offered a great connection to the new squads in the department, and lastly the design exhibition in the memberspace tied it all together for and with Lucid.
As the kLustrum DIY committee we were responsible for the DIY event. This event was a “Te land, ter zee en in de lucht” inspired event, where participants build and decorate a vehicle to participate in the race. During the event the participants made beautiful and fast vehicles, and won some great prizes. The amazing spectators, fries, snacks, and DJ's completed the wonderful atmosphere during the event.
This Lustrum edition of Conduct was designed to be an innovative experience where technology and performing met.
Leveraging our strengths as industrial designers, we created novel ways for visitors to interact with and on the festival grounds, allowing for input from the visitors before and during the event to shape their Conduct experience.
With the vision of exploring the unknown, we allowed the visitor to create and explore several areas in which they could chill, dance, and even explore a hidden path…
Unfortunately, due to the anticipated supercell storm, this edition of Conduct had to be canceled.
We set out to organize a TU/e wide beer pong tournament. Almost all study associations had applied to join our competition, hosting a small tournament within their own association to determine which team would advance to the main event. Unfortunately, an unexpected lockdown prevented this event from happening, forcing us to think outside of the box to ensure Lucid members would not miss out on Big Pong.
This is when the collaboration with the Conduct Festival was born. On the festival grounds, we created a hidden area in which visitors could enjoy beers from a beerpackpack while dancing to the silent disco, obviously while enjoying some games of beer pong.
To this day, this hidden area has yet to be found…
"After a year of working hard we are proud to present this beautiful almanac to you! By gathering all memories and experiences of the last five years, we hope you have a good time looking back on what Lucid has achieved."
